The Bosch battery adapter 2 (BAD2) is used to connect the battery to your e-bike. For this purpose, the adapter has two connection sockets, one for the battery cable to the motor and a second for the charging socket cable. The Bosch PowerTube 2-fold adapter is already factory-installed in many Bosch e-bikes with Smart System and PowerTube battery. However, the battery adapter 2 can also be installed on e-bikes with a PowerPack frame battery. Which battery connection you need depends on the position of your charging socket. If it is integrated into the frame of your e-bike, you will need this 2-fold adapter. If, on the other hand, the charging socket is located directly on the battery mount, you will need the battery adapter 1 (BAD1).
